LPIA 2007 Convention

The Libertarian Party of Iowa annual convention will be held on Saturday, April 14 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Location
The North Ridge Pavilion in Coralville, IA. has been chosen as the site of the convention. Directions to North Ridge Pavilion from Interstate 80 are available here.

Registration
$20 paid in advance includes lunch, chance at door prize, and the usual buttons, stickers and brochures. Register online using PayPal by clicking the Register button, or send a check to the address below.

Schedule
10:00 a.m. until Noon - Short videos from most of our LP presidential candidates, discussions on running for office, influencing office holders and legislation, a preview of our 2008 presidential nominating convention to be held May 2008 in Denver, and free time to socialize.

Noon until 1:00 p.m. - Catered lunch. Members are requested to bring cookies or deserts to share.

1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. - General business meeting, election of officers, bylaws changes. This section is free to all voting (dues paid) members.

4:00 p.m. until ? - After hours events done the libertarian way (arising spontaneously)
