Richard Campagna Named Lights of Liberty Award Winner

Libertarian Party of Iowa executive committee member Richard Campagna was awarded the Advocates for Self Government 2002 Lights of Liberty Award.

Richard was one of only 14 individuals nationally to receive the "Libertarian Triathlon", qualifying in all three areas that the award is given. Two achieve this status, Richard accomplished the following three vital outreach activities: 3 or more published letters to the editor, 3 or more speeches, and 3 or more Operation Politically Homeless (OPH) booths.

Lights of Liberty is a program to recognize and reward outstanding libertarian grassroots volunteer work. Now in its fifth year, the Lights of Liberty awards program has been endorsed and applauded by local, state and national libertarian leaders. Lights of Liberty winners are helping to change the face of politics in America.
